Keep us posted on how this plays out- something that can happen to all of us- im thinking it’s a comprehensive coverage claim under your auto policy, but most of us have high deductibles so curious how yours will play out. Sorry about that.

OP, I feel for you. I had a similar flying debris situation with my Lexus. Someone ran over a metal foldable chair and a part of it came flying at my car and took off my whole right side mirror and housing. Thank god it didn’t come through the windshield. Was almost a $1,400 dollar repair but I was able to get the OEM parts myself and fixed it all for a lot less.

Oh man sorry. The light and front aren't too bad but I'm afraid the hood if replaced is prob the pricy part, painting it, etc.

Go to your favorite body shop and get an estimate. Then decide if it’s worth an insurance claim.

That was a heck of a hit.... Bumper might have been saved with a clear bra if wasn't too sharp of an object but not the hood.... EEEKKKSSSS
