We went, It was really nice!
We signed in upon arrival and signed up for a test drive right away and were in the truck in about 15 minutes.
We drove about 3 miles on back country roads with no traffic and had a very friendly and very knowledgeable advisor with us.
When we got back we checked out the ones for sale, there was every color and configuration there but all were quad motors.
The staff were everywhere and all were again, super helpful and super friendly, they all seemed to really love their jobs.
We only saw one "sold" sign in one truck and every truck was over the 90k mark, we went to just check them out and came very very close to buying one on the spot but that's a lot of money to just impulse buy haha.

I am pretty sure we are going to order one now after seeing and driving them, and I can't said we would have with out the event.
We met one advisor who was really fun to work with and if we purchase she told us to ask to be assigned to her and we will for sure.

It was amazing to see the enthusiasm that they had and they knew an answer to every question we threw at them.

Oh, there were about 4 rows of trucks I would guess maybe 20 or so for sale.
I would call it a success and they should do it more often.

Well first off I don't know how many they sold at the event, there were a lot of people that showed up, it convinced us to order one who knows how many more.
So a colossal failure, hardly.

For sure. I recently read an article that said the company was in real trouble and a person can get a truck instantly. He was a stock guy shorting the stock

We knew going into it that we were likely planning on driving off with a vehicle, which it seems like about half the people were there to just see/test drive the R1Ts and the other half were there to actually purchase. Everyone we talked to/worked with was incredibly nice and were super kind to our son by keeping him occupied while we signed the paperwork. It was a great experience.
