I love to see the details if it will indeed be using 48 volts for the low voltage system. I wonder if that means the end to using a separate battery for the low voltage system and they will just run everything off the big traction battery?
I don't think that would happen. There have been several engineers that talk about this. If they don't have a separate low voltage system, then the HV battery needs to online 24/7. This is less than ideal for safety purposes.

A poor effort to emulate a CT. they didn't even change the door handles and the tail lights from what looks to be an old F150 - check the rear lights straight up F150. Same with the tailgate.
Sad job of customizing. nice fender flares as well, is that just some rubber baseboard they glued on?

Agreed, his "production staring" statements could easily mean many months out.. and could only be a couple hundred (if that many) vehicles. His statements are pretty much meaningless nowadays... who knows, he may end up becoming the Howard Hughes of our generation based on his off the wall behavior of late?
Yeah kind of like all of Rivians statements as well...Im a May 2019 max pack pre order that was supposed to receive my truck before all the other models and look where I am now..."August /Sept" delivery and we havent seen proof of one max pack yet. RJ and Musk are just running businesses and they are both the same except one doesnt bull shit the term "vegan leather" to appeal to virtue signaling environmentalists that are putting MASSIVE conflict mineral batteries into their vehicles hahaha. I love this country! /rant

More of this "both sides" bullshit.

I'm pretty sure the homemade F-150 model I had in The Need for Speed 1 had more polygons than that...

I can see the future Owners' dilemma: 6 CTs parked in a row...how to tell yours from the others.....

RWS, 48 volt electrical architecture and auto popping doors on approach (Tesla eliminated door handles) are some cool features that are supposed to be incorporated.

Steer-by-wire is also rumored to be coming.

Tesla incorporated the federally mandated 3rd brake light in a clever way. View the nighttime video below and it can be seen in action on the F150 wrapped Cybertruck.

No side mirror turn indicator?

Whichever one is theirs, it will be the ugly one.

More of this "both sides" bullshit.
This isn't political it is just uber ironic. Arguing objectivity is relevant here, but people like you who just hate musk for some petty reason need to have some introspection and realize you aren't a solution to the problem. Yes BOTH Rivian and Tesla are great steps forward and BOTH are tech/engineering minded businessmen. Ill wait for your response since you have time for 6500 messages on a car forum...

I'd rather argue with a brick wall. Have a good one.

It's pretty clear your time spent not posting here isn't used for reading current events. The year is 2023 year here. What year is it in your world? :time:

Everyone is quick to kick Elon down. Remember this is the man even though a bit unusual that made EV’s a reality and is launching rockets that are reusable into space. I would not write him and the cybertruck off just yet. Too extreme of a design for me but I bet it will be successful
