Issue: Plugged in @ Home in driveway today at 1730, charging started as soon as I plugged in.
Concern: I have set the vehicle to charge between 0030 and 0630.
Detail and maybe problem: home is set to an address and my driveway/charger is 150' from address location in Nav. So the Dirty Bastard thought it wasn't home and should be charging right away.
I have no idea how to solve, and really don't want to charge at peak use hours, other than plugging in late at night I have no idea how to make it work by schedule.

Obviously I'm missing something in setting up scheduled charging, could it be because owners manual directions are way too detailed and specific?

Obviously I tried setting home again but it keeps going to the address centroid on the lot vs where I am sitting in driveway... wtf Rivian software engineers.

Checkout this thread, apparently there are ways to modify the map trough crowd sourcing. Maybe you can correct your address.

I've done that and made several changes (my work location does not exist). They do not reflect in my in-vehicle nav.

You're setting schedule through the truck? Which EVSE? Can you restrict charging hours there? I know my ChargePoint allows me to set a charging schedule.

So yes Ive set it in the truck, not the EVSE. I'm using our Tesla until I pick a 1772 EVSE to install.

I did farkle (engineering speak for play) with it a bit: deleted home address, removed scheduled charging, re-added scheduled charge 'everyday'... and now I have a blue light and dash showing set for 0030.
Now will it be the same tomorrow? Will I ever be able to add a Home location?
Who knows if this will even work tonight?

i’ve seen this happen once or twice. what was your SOC before charging auto-initiated? once or twice the SOC was 15% or so and I think the truck took the liberty of starting charge because it was low. Just a guess. I’m pretty sure i’ve also seen the charge amps revert to 48. Not sure if it’s based on location. I don’t believe I have a home or work location set anywhere.

This may already be covered, but I just figured out why mine wasn’t working on scheduled charging. I thought if I added my Home address, it would be sorted…. Nope. I had to drag the location, was defaulted to the deliver location, in my phone’s app under charging section. Map is at the bottom.
