So how do I set it to stop charging at a certain time on weekends? This morning it stopped at 6AM and needed more charge

If you use weekdays it will charge from 12am-6am on weekdays and will charge all 24 hours on weekends

If you use daily it will follow whatever schedule you put in all 7 days of the week. You could put 12am-6am, or 12am-2pm, or any other schedule you choose.

What you cannot do is have a different schedule for the weekends vs the weekdays. So pick one of those two options that works best, and then manually adjust the schedule in the app if you need/want to.

It's =fine for my wife's Tesla that charges faster with the smaller battery but not for my Rivian and SDGE's TOU-5 rate schedule where it jumps from ~8 cents (Super off peak) to 38 cents (Off peak) in Winter.

I would set your off peak times weekday and your weekend off peak on the daily set the different hours you need and there is a toggle on/off that you can use to change between them…

I just found that with Daily set to say 12am-6am, if you have a charging session that started on a weekend that does not complete by 6am on Monday that it will continue to charge past 6am. It's kind of unbelievable how dumb of an implementation of scheduled charging they've implemented here. My wife's Jeep PHEV schedule charging implementation is MUCH better.

As the OP, what I learned:
scheduling in the vehicle is how to do this/ what works & the vehicle determines the location.
I’m not sure why: 1. The app charge scheduling doesn’t work & 2. Why the software picks the middle of a bridge over water as my location when my home - charging location is about 3miles away. ??‍.
Scheduled charging works & the battery is about 55 def F upon departure.
Cabin temperature can be set, scheduled & adjusted via the app.
