A small rolling marble sound in the drivers door when accelerating and decelerating was getting to me so I took a panel tool and popped the bottom of the drivers door panel just a little and our dropped this screw.

Glad the noise is gone. I guess I'll save it and mention it to the service center next time it is in, I hate to open a can of worms with them uncovering the door panel for one screw though... Unless it is holding something important like a window motor or something 😲

I have the same noise (rolling marble) in my R1S Gen 2 and have been trying to track it down. Is your R1 Gen 1 or 2? Also, are there any particular instructions you followed to get the panel off?

Search YouTube. There is a video that includes door panel removal for gen 2.

Funny (or maybe not), I also have a Gen2 with the same issue -- front passenger door

I guess the next question is: Where is the screw from and do I need to worry that something isn’t attached 🤣

I used a panel tool that came with a dashcam. It is just a stiff plastic pry at and you can use something plastic you have or get one at an auto store.

One way to check before you try to get it is to open the door and tap forcefully the bottom of the plastic door panel in places. If you do it under the screw it will pop in the air and land back down so you will hear it roll after you tap. Then you know where to open.

Don't take the whole panel off and be gentle. Just get something plastic in between the metal and plastic and pry open a half inch or wedge a larger plastic piece in and once it is big enough if a gap the screw will drop out... Or tap iit a bit to get it to drop
