Another feature they should add is when cabin pre-heating is triggered, allow the seats and steering wheel to be also tied to that pre-conditiining.

Every other vehicle I have had with remote start.....did this automatically. I would have thought maybe they would have figured it out already and incorporated, but now that it is colder out, and I am trying pre-heating cabin, it appears it does not.

I'd like to see auto switching between seat ventilation and heat, as well. They only show one of them in the bottom bar, so during fall/spring I end up having to go into the menu to switch between them in the morning/afternoon/night as the temperature changes. I think they could make educated guess on which will be used based on temp.

I'd also like to see multiple levels of heat for the steering wheel. I was surprised it is either on/off and doesn't have levels like the seats.

I agree with all this. Steering heat on mine is a bit weak. My previous Acura was better and my wife's Jeep I think is almost capable of 1st degree burns.

Agreed. My wife's Volvo has 3 levels for steering wheel heat and it's very nice.

also auto mirror and window def activation if it determines it needs it should be on that list. Not sure if it already does or not but given the weather in Shitcago today I will soon.

Also agree and my bet is they currently are not activated with remote heat. But they need to be.

I have been using the remote heat some this week, which is wonderful, especially because I can do it from my office with my R1T 100 sitting yards away. Unlike an ICE vehicle that would be sitting there spewing exhaust while warming up, it's nice that the only thing running is the heater. But it definitely does not turn on the seat heater or steering wheel heat. Having said that, both of those warm up very fast, I notice the heat on the steering wheel within a minute and the heat on the seats in a couple of minutes, so it does't bother me much that they don't kick in remotely.

A site that has an invalid SSL certificate sure inspires my confidence in both the site and the person who recommends that site ...

BTW, it's NOT an official Rivian site, and the domain registration is anonymous.
His "Lets Encrypt" is misconfigured. While it's not front and center, the bottom of the FAQ page does list their non-affiliation and that the site is managed by https://twitter.com/kryptonlogic

My apologies. Incorrect site.

https://rivian.software/

And yes, it’s known to NOT be affiliated with Rivian, but it’s the best platform currently to organize all OTA update info, bugs/issues, and feature requests.
