Can anyone with a Rivian comment on seat comfort?
Loved the front seats. Back seats weren't as nice IMO. There's a small round section in the center of the seat about 6" below the base of my neck that wasn't smooth and irritated my back. I'm 6'2" 175# BTW

Its not like they’re using the seats from a Hyundai model, a division of Hyundai which makes seats for OEMs is supplying their seats.

The interesting thing to me will be how the seats hold up over time. Some of the "Vegan leather" seats really don't hold up well, both in appearance and comfort.
It’s only good if they make it from the finest vegan hides.

My wife rode in the back for our F150 Lightning "test drive" and for the Rivian First Mile test drive. The Rivian was vastly superior. Enough so that she doesn't want us to get the Lightning.
The F150’s seats are VERY upright. They can be uncomfortable for some. My wife refused to sit in the back seat of my Raptor. It’s bad enough that there are some aftermarket kits that lets you recline the back seats a few degrees.

The seats are well made , beautifully detailed and designed. In my brief ride and drive the fronts seats were very comfortable - the backs , not so much , but i'm sure that is a result of the adjustability , not the seat itself. The materials and colors are first rate. Long term wear and durability TBD.

Reminded me of my 2018 Xc60.

Interesting. You’re talking about only in the back?

The back seats seem very subject to personal preference. At 6' I found them to be typical if a decent backseat without adjustments. My wife thought they were quite comfortable. I found the headroom surprisingly lacking in the back though. But that's not unusual for me for some reason.

Yes. They created a gap in the back seat for aesthetics it seems and unfortunately you can feel the transition

This is one of my biggest concerns. They look comfortable tho. I’m coming from a RR HSE (not the fancy autobiography seats) but it’s still very comfortable to drive. I really want a comfortable ride much more than performance.

Front seats were great...back seats definitely had something odd going on in the center as mentioned above. It's as if there's not enough padding.
