What happens if I jam the seat?

About to head on a trip and thinking of putting a large cooler behind the drivers seat on the floor. What happens if “easy entry” pushes the seat so far back that the cooler jams it? Will something break or will it just stop when it encounters a barrier?

Nixapatfan is right, LOL. My guess is Rivian has thought of this and the seat will stop.

You can also disable that feature I would think.

My wife needs "easy entry" -- but that function can crush metal cans.

I transport food for our food banks, and I no longer put any food (regardless of packaging) where it can fall behind the driver's seat.

In a gen2 the seat just stops. Had this happen last weekend.
