Seattle Expansion

I can report that I had an excellent experience at the Auburn facility today. They have consistently provided efficient, quality service for my R1T. Whatever happens in Seattle SC, I hope they continue to operate the Auburn facility.

Auburn was great. Took my R1T in there for a minor issue and they were done in about 90 minutes.

When I was offered the Auburn appointment, the phone scheduler told me there weren't appointments available at the Seattle location until June. My guess is that is when the Seattle Service Center is coming online.

One of the guys at service told me they are just waiting.. According to them, half the building is in Seattle and half in Tukwila which is causing some permit issues (apparently the fire code changed while it was still being installed and one city wants what they already installed brought up to the newer code)..

I think it's in addition to. I remember hearing about it recently. It's on reservation land, so I believe it's a way to go around the State's anti- direct to consumer laws. So they could run test drives from the facility.

I had to re-schedule an appointment I had with Bellevue via Mobile Service (08/07) and the support representative offered me an appointment for 07/22 for "Seattle", he didn't seem very familiar with the PNW area so I double checked that he didn't mean Bellevue. He then confirmed that it was Seattle SC and gave me the following address:

3201 S Norfolk St, Seattle, WA 98118

I wonder if I'm going to get a call shortly asking me to re-schedule with an existing SC (Bellevue, Auburn or Kirkland) or if this could possibly be accurate. Anyone else with Seattle SC appointments that can confirm it will be up and running in July?

I'll keep you all posted otherwise.
