Shelton Service Center, CT Closed?

Hi All,

I was trying to get a service appointment booked at the Shelton Service Center in CT. I was informed that the center is closed and not taking any more reservations. When asked if this was permanent and what lead to the closure, the rivian customer representative did not give me a good answer and went on to say only time will tell if the center would open back up or not. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I am pretty disappointed. I might just drive up to Shelton and see whats going on.

Looks like Rivian does not have a manufacturers license to do business in CT.

I just looked at the Rivian website and it say they’re open by appointment. I just had my tires replaced there 2 weeks ago.

Shelton SC “officially” opening September 6th for anyone who didn’t see the email blast today. Glad they finally sorted through the soft opening issues and are in full operation mode.

So happy to hear this. I wish this location huge success. After 10 months, I really have no issues with mine. But knowing its there is a relief. I wish I knew about the grand opening I would have loved visiting.
