Came out of work today, to a series of warning icons. I wasn’t smart enough to take a picture, but I remember the turtle, AEB symbol, and maybe another. Plus a warning sign that “hold” wasn’t functioning. I had no issues prior, but I did get the recent update last night. I re-parked and then did a full reset/restart. Everything cleared and all seems normal again.

But tomorrow morning I am to leave for the weekend, 500miles from home. Assuming no more warning tonight, is it safe to chalk it up to a glitch?

I had icons pop-up once several months ago, did a hard reset, and absolutely nothing since then. Personally, if they aren't popping up again, I'd continue on like you were before.

I had the same thing happened to me after the update yesterday. I did the update at home and it didn't show up until I leaving work. I had no issues driving home other than I couldn't use cruise or Driver+. I did a reset when I got home and they cleared and haven't come back. I called support so they were aware.

It's hard to say because I had one of those truck breaking error messages 4 months or so ago and I did a reset and it hasn't been back. So it could be something like that or it could be something broken.

About a month ago I had some errors leaving work, Drive motor issue, turtle mode, maybe some others, I was tired and did not take a picture. I drive for about 1-2 miles in turtle mode, pulled over, and pressed left steering wheel button and hazards. Everything reset, I drove home and no issues. Until about a week later when my 12V died in my driveway. May be related, may not be, I drove it the day before the 12v died and then charged to 70%.

Fast forward a couple of weeks, they replaced my 12v batteries (on Wednesday). I drove about 70 miles that day, no issues. Next morning (Thursday), drive motor error again, HVAC did not turn on, would not shift out of park, garage door opener would not work (but Spotify did work). Reset the truck again, drove something else to work. Drove it the next day (Saturday). Sunday morning I go to leave work, error is back, reset again, went away, submitted a ticket, covering both incidents. They called and said to call them if it happens again. Well, Monday morning, happened again, but errors cleared while I was on the phone with Rivian. I drove home, and parked it. Got towed in this morning. I did not want to drive to the service center 2.5 hours away since I had repeated errors.

If it happened once, it may be a glitch, especially the day after a software update. Unfortunately we can’t be more definitive with an answer, some of us had issues a reset cleared and never came back. Some of us have had larger issues.

Before you do a reset, turn on the WARNING lights for a minute. That marks the data log and then do a reset. THis way the techs can see when you did it.

I feel like there is something about the latest .30 update. I did the update last night, and for the first time ever this morning got the same errors (brake hold, turtle, etc). Hard reset seems to have fixed it. Hope that's it.

I think I have a leak. Anyone know what triggers this warning light?
