And the maximum a Rivian will accept is 48A. You can't charge a Rivian any faster by making more current available at the EVSE because that current will never be used and CAN never be used by the Rivian. The Rivian wall charger supplies the maximum current allowed for a Rivian. There is no L2 EVSE that will charge a Rivian faster than the Rivian wall charger.Older Tesla wall chargers are 80A.
Are you getting a discount on the Tesla wall connector with J1772? How do you get it for less than $500? Or are you going to use the regular wall connector with an adapter?I'm planning on removing it from my config after new delivery date is updated. I don't think it matters if I do it now or May 1st but just gonna wait.
Going to get Tesla charger. Its $100 cheaper than my $500 priceand its faster.
If you could do more with Rivian app and Rivian charger, then I would consider keeping it.
Was thinking about Wall connector with adapter. Are you getting a discount on the Tesla wall connector with J1772? How do you get it for less than $500? Or are you going to use the regular wall connector with an adapter?
