Should I remove charger from my config? Or will that cause delay?

If you don't want it, have your guide delete it as a part of the 8 step actual purchase process.

Older Tesla wall chargers are 80A.
And the maximum a Rivian will accept is 48A. You can't charge a Rivian any faster by making more current available at the EVSE because that current will never be used and CAN never be used by the Rivian. The Rivian wall charger supplies the maximum current allowed for a Rivian. There is no L2 EVSE that will charge a Rivian faster than the Rivian wall charger.

Yes, there are good reasons to choose other chargers, depending on your circumstances. Among them price, availability of rebates, ability to load share or charge two vehicles at once, length of cord, etc. But there is no option that can L2 charge a Rivian faster than the Rivian wall charger.

I'm planning on removing it from my config after new delivery date is updated. I don't think it matters if I do it now or May 1st but just gonna wait.

Going to get Tesla charger. Its $100 cheaper than my $500 price and its faster.

If you could do more with Rivian app and Rivian charger, then I would consider keeping it.
Are you getting a discount on the Tesla wall connector with J1772? How do you get it for less than $500? Or are you going to use the regular wall connector with an adapter?
