Shout out to Americas Tire!

Had to visit the Glendora CA America's tire service center today because I had a large nail in the center of the right rear tire tread. I called ahead and verified they had pucks for Rivians. Once I arrived, service advisor was very knowledgeable in changing tires on Rivians, including the use of pucks and service tire mode requirement. He also told me that all the service techs were required to watch a training video thatnwas specific to Rivians. Not sure if it is common at other AT locations, but the service rep said they had 2 of each Perelli tire (20,21 and 22) in stock. Great experience today....

That's encouraging. I too also go to the glendora America tire. Had my Tesla serviced there prior, and was wondering where I would take the rivian once I needed rotation and new tires. Good to know!

And for those that are unaware, you can get road hazard tire insurance at Americas/Discount Tire for your Rivian OEM tires. I did this for my Lucid Air and will do the same for my R1S once it arrives in about a month. For the Lucid it was about $65/tire. Covers everything other than tread wear. Replacement is free, just have to buy insurance on the new tire.
