I've never had a vehicle with auto-tilting rear mirrors before. For those of you that have, are you aware of any issues with wearing out the motors or other internal components prematurely? Prior to this update, these motors would obviously run very infrequently and wouldn't need much in regard to cycle testing. I would hope that Rivian either did this cycle testing from day one knowing that this feature would be added later, or did the testing prior to releasing the update. But you never know. It seems like a very useful feature, but not at the expense of a shorter lifespan and not being able to adjust the mirrors when needed. Any thoughts? Am I overthinking this?
