Forgive me if this is answered elsewhere -- I searched but didn't find it. What do we know about using the left steering wheel button to launch Siri (instead of Alexa)?
Now that the sound system is amazing -- and really, congrats to the Rivian team on this -- I want to stream music directly from the onboard Apple Music app instead of from my phone over bluetooth. Manually searching for songs on the dashboard screen is terrible and if you're driving dangerous. I'd like to have a way to activate Siri or a voice command for songs on the native Apple Music app.
The signup page for Connect+ lists five features: hotspot connectivity, media app streaming, satellite map views, connected voice assistant, and priority software updates. See photo.
I'm interested in the fourth item...It's curious to me that they did not say "Alexa." I guess this is in line with what was posted a few months ago here on the forums. See also this reddit thread.
I'm wondering if we know something more concrete about this?
Thanks!
