Slate Sky + Walnut Production?

Don’t want to throw shade but storm blue + slate sky is probably the right choice for most.

Why?

Because the interior’s primary color is _exactly_ storm blue. It becomes most apparent as you open the doors, and the doors’ exterior, interior and exterior/interior transition are all the same (including the step that most people are most likely watching upon entering). First thing I noticed at the show room.

with that being said, I’ve got Rivian Blue + Slate Sky.

Yeah, it looks very clearly purpose-built to be the "default" color scheme with Storm Blue.

I wish I had a chance to see it in person, I ordered Storm Blue sight unseen, and I have to admit that even after seeing photos, I still have a bit of trepidation that it may not be the color I absolutely love.

But I liked the photos enough to take a chance, and I think my second choice (Limestone) wouldn't look quite as natural with the darkout package and dark wheels.

We'll see!

I ordered Storm Blue + Slate Sky on Oct 1 with an Oct/Nov delivery but haven't heard any updates.

I keep getting tempted to be impatient and go with one of the Ocean Coast /Driftwood configs I've seen in the shop but think I'd regret not waiting for what I really want.

Oct 7 order date here. It's also still on "configuration confirmed" with Oct/Nov estimate for me. But seeing people who pre-ordered in June who have Nov 20 delivery dates...makes me think November is optimistic.

Now that you mention it, no. I was thinking just Storm Blue R1T, dunno about the interior.

Kinda bummed about the FE green interior being discontinued too. Wonder if they'll introduce any new options to make up for it?

Originally, I had FE interior on my R1T build. However, after coming across a used R1T with black mountain, I had to take the offer and gave up my reservation.

In regards to your question regarding new colors, in a semi-recent podcast appearance that RJ made, this topic was brought up regarding compass yellow paint. RJ mentioned that the main colors will remain the same, and there would be a couple limited time colors mixed in. I wonder if this same thought process could also apply with interior options.

I have a Storm Blue with Ocean Coast/Driftwood and honestly it’s amazing.

I have 4 Gen 1’s all with Black Mountain…so Ocean Coast was outside the norm for me but I could not do the walnut trim.

Edit: Get some ceramic coating for the ocean coast interior.

I ordered a Storm Blue/Slate Sky on Oct 6. Same deal - Order Confirmed/Oct-Nov est. delivery. Starting to loose faith that they will actually produce Slate Sky.

I ordered June 29 an R1T with Storm Blue with Slate Sky interior. The estimate delivery date has not changed from Oct/Nov since ordering and I have not had any communication since then either.

I changed my order and grabbed a storm blue with ocean coast from the shop. I have a delivery date of 11/21. I was hoping for slate sky but it does not appear that they are actually producing cars with that interior.

That will be a great choice too, but the website is saying there's still a chance they'll deliver Slate Sky in October even though it's already November. Excited to see how they pull this off.
