Okay, I borrowed a tape measure from a coworker. You're looking for this measurement, right? Granted it is for an R1S but you can assume the R2 will be the same or less.

The area closer to the front of the car is 32-32.5 inches and the area toward the rear of the car (while still measuring from the folded down 2nd row seat) is 33in. These measurements are right up against the glass.

Looks like I was pretty close to my estimate in post #8.

Thanks! That is exactly what I was hoping to obtain…but sadly it appears the Rivian won’t work as intended if my dog stands up (unless he lowers his head) because he is over 32” at his shoulders. I suppose I could remove the seats and build a platform, however…so there is that!

New Idea... replace the glass roof with one of these.
