Spooky thing glitch?

This halloween special came out last Friday, tested it and it worked.
Well this evening, I got embarrassed when I tried to show it to my kid only to learn that it is not working.
I called Rivian and after signing out in the app, did a software reset, nothing still works. So he went to his vehicle and tried it and lo and behold it didn’t work as well. He said it worked before. So I was wondering, if it is a glitch. He said he haven’t got any calls about this today so can anybody confirm that your spooky thing still works.

My kid commented it was pretty weak when we tried it this past weekend.

Seemed just to be a repeating scene on the screens and a pulsing light bar. Not exactly Tesla Light Show.

Frog lock sound is good though.

Haven’t tried it a second time.

Same here. Downloaded last night. Tried it and it worked. Get into car this morning , turned it on, nothing

What I saw was cool and liked the sounds. Hope it comes back.

Mine is not working either now. Tried to reset phone but not car yet. Was working a few days ago, but couldn’t unlock doors with phone app after turning it on. So was glitchy then. At least Google cast is still working, which stoped working about 6 months ago, and just started working again with latest update….

This. Really important to turn it off (on phone) before you drive away.
Too much important shite going on to worry about an in-car costume, not to be too cynical.

Same here. Mine no longer works as of late also. Anyone find a resolution?

Mine not working either. It worked fine after i downloaded the update last week, but no longer. '22 Gen 1 R1T.

Worked once then embarrassed me when I tried to show my granddaughter! Rebooted everything but no go.

After the software update, my app shows the features, but the car doesn't do anything. I hope this is resolved soon. It seems cool.

I’ve got the opposite. Mine won’t turn off. Manual mode, motion detection mode, if it’s on in the app, it just rocks out and throws a continuous rager so I unfortunately have to leave it disabled.

Someone on Reddit said to put car in camp mode. Anyone try that? Can't check until later today.

Downloaded update as soon as available on Monday 10/27, spooky mode worked on first try during the day, but could not access mode in the evening or now, even in Camp Mode. Wifi strong, did several system resets, mobile app shows car in spooky mode. This does not seem unusual to me. I regularly have software problems across my life - banking, government, laptop OS etc. While OTA upgrades are nice, OTA updates also correct software glitches. I'm ok with missing out on non-essential spooky mode software, but this does illustrate a pitfall of a "software-defined vehicle."
