The way the streaming radio cuts out randomly brings back memories of AM radio. It's so special, just like my 67 Corvette.

All things I appreciate
Not having to go by the gas station multiple times a week for around town driving
Acceleration
Quad motor noise
Ride height adjustments
Pet mode
Remote access and control
Gear tunnel
Frunk
Power tonneau
Updates

Pet mode and acceleration are probably the top two.
I think my list would be similar and they match for the most part what I like about my Teslas (no gear tunnel) but it does have launch and track mode and wish my Rivian had those too. I know Ge2 quad would but not worth the price of admission yet for me.

The ones I use most are:
  • Remote cabin cooling & heating
  • iOS integration with Shortcuts. There is a great shortcut out there first to check the weather and vent the windows if appropriate before cooling
  • Suspension settings (sport to launch, AP for high speed acceleration, conserve to sip electrons as needed)
  • Drive modes/traction control
  • Gear tunnel
  • Topper that I added. That was a real game changer for me and euse it more than the gear tunnel but together they are amazing
  • Rivian app to keep tabs on my truck all the time it has spent in service
I do always use the acceleration even though it is our slowest car.

I'd also like to add how much I use aftermarket software. ElectraFi has been awesome for collecting a lot of data on my truck. I have been using TeslaFi for years and it was only natural to use it on my Rivian. DM if you want a referral code.

I also use ABRP but hate the interface to TBH. Circling back to iOS shortcuts, there is a ton of things you can setup and even run from your watch. This has been a real game changer for me.
