For what it's worth, tirerack.com website today (1/9/23) showed the original equipment 22" Pirelli tire is discontinued and limited to in stock inventory. On chat, a TIreRack employees said they don't have a replacement part # yet. Might be misinformation ... but I thought I'd pass along what I found.

Wow, that's kind of an issue.
After I just switched my config from 21s to 22s and confirmed today.

Probsbly a new PN not in retail channels yet, and if there is any made it’s probably all being held back for Rivian

Very plausible.

Very plausible.
Since it’s a mfg specific tire, and a comparatively low volume one at that, I’d imagine pirelli doesn’t devote a lot of production capacoty to it.

Seems to be not saying that now:
Rivian R1T R1S TIRERACK shows 22" OE Pirelli is "discontinued" Rivian_22_OEM.PNG

I wonder if it has something to do with the following:
Rivian R1T R1S TIRERACK shows 22" OE Pirelli is "discontinued" Rivian_22_OEM_new_old.PNG

On the Pirelli website it now shows two versions of the OEM Rivian 275/50R22s, one with the original 115H load speed index and one with the new 116H load speed index. At some point in the last few months, the load rating was updated by one to 116. that might be part of the confusion over at Tire Rack.

All three OEM tire options are now rated 116H across the board.
