I took delivery of my truck on May 19 and have put about 2800 miles on it. It's been great overall although I wish the app would allow me to do more (aka Tesla) like unlock the gear tunnel, or the tailgate and tonneau without having to first unlock all the doors. Speaking of the tonneau cover, I have run the truck through a touchless car wash twice. I noticed water in the bed a couple of days after that first wash but there wasn't much and it really didn't register with me at the time. I needed to get something out of the bed immediately after the second wash and found the bed wet as if I had just hosed it down. For some reason I expected the tonneau to be waterproof but looking at how the slats ride on top of each other, maybe that's not possible. Anyone else notice this or have thoughts?

Only water proof storage areas are frunk and gear tunnel. This is what I was told and have experienced. The bed, with cover, will keep things relatively dry compared to outside of vehicle but definitely not water proof.

Yeah, this. The tonneau cover is specifically listed as not weather proof. Looks mainly due to gaps in the gasket at the tailgate.

if this is the only issue you're having with your tonneau OP, you're pretty lucky lol

Other people have shown water coming in through the bed lights and other openings as well.

I have a stuck tonneau cover that will close all the way but only open 1/4 of the way. Just talked to service about getting my spare tire installed and asked about the tonneau repair. They said there was a redesign, maybe new manufacturer and they were expecting more info in August.
Redesign sounds promising. August sounds s00n.
YMMV.
