Trip Millage higer than Odometer

Was looking at my total mileage and noticed my trip is higher than the Odometer. Wonder if there was some type of reset at the factory.

All is factory but being that the wheel speed generates the readings for both, they should be equal. If there was a discrepancy, they both should be wrong.

It doesn't bother me, unless for some reason there is an increased drift. Just found it interesting.

Maybe just a rounding error on the overall odometer?

I read yesterday that there is the making of a class action lawsuit against Tesla (I am a 1 month newbie owner of my R1S and a former Tesla Model S owner) as it relates to the accuracy of the odometer as it relates to warranty claims. I still use Google Timelines and actually reviewed my odometer readings for the past week against the mileage used by Google Maps and it does appear that my odometer is overstating my miles traveled (which, in addition to warranty claims may skew the cost per mile driven for those who track). I have to imagination there are state laws which require calibration and it will be interesting to see if anything is raised against Rivian.

You definitely won't see me complaining about having LESS miles being reported on my odometer versus actual miles driven; helps with any residual resale value

My story - I wasn’t clear in my description of a problem with mikes/kwh
Service checked my trip A and B and verified that they were in fact reading mileage the same and correctly
My problem is this - got new tires last year and started my new tire mileage on trip B
Trip A is life of vehicle mileage
Since then trip A m/kwh has gone from 2.24 down to 1.79
Trip B has gone from 2.18 to 2.22
