TuneIn Subscription Best rate?

I guess I'm in the same boat as a lot of Rivian owners who are at the end of the pre-paid TuneIn subscription Rivian gave us.

TuneIn is asking for (and won't be getting from me!) $9.99/month for their commercial free service starting June 30th. I actually use TuneIn while driving as it's a native Rivian app and easy to access and use, so I'd like to keep it, but not at $9.99/month.

What's the best rate folks have been able to get from TuneIn for Premium (which is commercial free) with some arm twisting, letting the sub expire, coupon codes, etc... ??

I am paying $69.99 per year for Premium. I am able to use it on my phone plus all three vehicles I own.

I am considering cancelling it if Rivian is going to charge me $15 per month on top of that for streaming services. I have SiriusXM for my other vehicles and get free phone streaming with that. So would just listen to XM via the phone audio in that case.

FWIW, I waited a few days after my sub expired then hit the "Renew" button to test the waters and was happy to see an offer for $49/year. The rub is you will be auto-charged $99 for the next year once your $49 year is up unless you cancel before the automatic renewal date. I already put a reminder on my 2025 calendar to cancel two days before my account renews. They want to play games... I can play too
