We're going to a drive-through holiday light show tonight. Norm is to turn off all vehicle lights while cruising at 5-10 miles through the path. What's the best way to keep the vehicle as dark as possible (no headlights, fog lights, DRL, etc.)? Anything to be aware of (if they come back on >15mph, etc.)?

I don't think you can turn everything off. I manually select "parking" which gives taillights and dims the front light bar. Our light show specifically says use parking lights only. I forget if it was any movement or just being in gear that disabled "off". When we got to the exit and I picked up speed, about 15 mph, the truck beeped and displayed a message to the effect of "Turn on headlights!".

Thanks, I should clarify, brake lights are fine, obviously. But wondering if there is anything like "nighttime courtesy mode" setting that dims exterior lights beyond the norm (keeps brake light functionality but disables front/rear light bar, etc.).

Have you tried the stalk settings yet? Like actually messed around with the truck before asking questions? @sherold has instructions right there even.

Yes but why? When everyone on the internet could be your butler? /s

I’m on my toilet. Can somebody come and give me a wipe, or two? then carry me back to my bed?

Use the left stalk headlight selector switch to turn the exterior lights off.

The running lights will turn back on over a certain speed.

DRLs are a safety feature. I hope Rivian does not provide a DRL-off setting anywhere.
What will be next, disable airbags, friction or regen braking, door lovks, too...

Federal law will not allow it. Don't worry.
