The Velcro doesn’t stick to the rubber mat. The velcro on the seat side stayed and didn’t leave any marks so far. I am thinking of returning them.Does the velcro leave any adhesive marks on the carpeting. I’ve been afraid to install mine.
Thanks, I can live with it falling off the mats. Wondering if superglue would enhance the durability on that side of things since I don’t care about leaving residue off the seats. The Velcro doesn’t stick to the rubber mat. Me too. I have the LinerX floor mat in the Rivian as that was the only real choice at the time of delivery. I have TuxMat in my Tesla and do like the product. Enough so that I've ordered their cargo liner set for the Rivian.I went with Liner-X because Tuxmats were not available in 23 when I got my S. While I like the look of the Tuxmats, I was concerned their woven texture would make them harder to clean. If anyone has had both, would like to know your experience...
It's been a week since installing it and yes the seat back protectors are staying up without any issues (2nd row). While I have had the 3rd down, there is no reason to believe it would behave differently than the 2nd row.Looks really good. I could really use just the rear mat.
Does it work with the seats up? I also have a Gen2, not sure if they made any significant changes to the trunk area.
The compressor cover moves easy enough. Thanks for the great pictures @mkg3 !
How accessible/usable is the air compressor?
What about the tie down rails? Looks like the rails are covered up, but maybe still can route a bungie around the side? Or would that just fold the mat quite a lot?
I used to have 3DMaxpyder Kagu mats for the cargo area before the Tuxmat. The lower tailgate is Kagu universal mat that I'd cut and velcro taped onto it.What are you using for the tailgate ?
