While true there are also more Gen 1 vehicles. RR has 2x linked accounts and I can see based on %s it’s even between Gen 1 and 2. There seems to be no priority other than Connect+.

I was pretty excited for the tire swap but a little bummed now it’s here. I have the 22 sport wheel and I put on LT285/50 R22 Toyo AT3s. Impractical but look pretty cool.

Anyway, I was hoping with this update that I could specify the size or weight of the tire to get the range to update. I know it’s hoping a lot with a lot of variables but when I went to change it all it says is “if you have after market tires then range/etc will not be reliable”. Then still did a full reboot anyway lol.

I know it’s hard to make it flexible for all tires but I definitely had hoped there was a way to at least enter a tire size and weight to help with the speedometer (mine is about 2 mph off now) and range calculation. I also know it’s my own doing so it is what it is.

I may just tell the car I have the OEM ATs to see if that at least gives me a more accurate range calculation.

Hey all. New owner here. Do R1 vehicles receive OTA software updates even when sleeping? Asking because when I get into the car at home, I notice the Wifi is off and remains so until the vehicle wakes up. LTE has one bar but Wifi is off when I get in. That makes me wonder, will I get pinged for the software update while parked at home?

Your phone will tell you it's available, and let you start the install.

Audio for the Gen2 Premium is improved but negligible IMHO. Music is clearer, a bit more balanced, and there's better bass response but not by much.

I may work on those numbers a bit to make it clear. It's tough to provide visibility while also being clear. If you have feedback on expectation I'd be happy to work it in.

Why no update for me? Wasn't the benefit of being a subscriber getting early access?

If 80% of the owners are on connect+ they all get "early access", but it's not "instant access". It's still randomly throttled out.

So yeah, Rivian's have pretty poor WiFi it seems. It means it didn't sustain a connection but you are flagged.

I've been told you can turn off wifi and if you have Connect+ it will download over cellular.
