I get flippers exist and they have profit incentives. But at the same time, there are so many people who would love to have the cars to keep. Makes me resent a bit some of those people who complained, moaned about the pre-price hike, if their intentions were to flip the whole time—a bit disingenuous.
Capitalism. Why most of us are able to buy these things. Can't wait for the government to give you one. I am not a flipper, just because I have better ways, but I don't see a problem with it. I don't have a problem with Ticketmaster either. If they are pulling too much of a fast one, just an opportunity for capitalism to show them that little pigs are cute and big pigs get slaughtered...

I didn’t buy with intention to flip, but given the QC issues along with the same suspension noises(told they were normal by service center) I’m considering selling it. When you consider you can use the equity and basically end up getting a MY for 30-35k it seems very tempting. I have a mobile technician coming out Monday to fix body panels(some were worse after service) and look into suspension noises again so we’ll see what happens.

If anyone is selling theirs, I'm looking in CA only! 88k is my budget. Cancelled my order a few weeks ago.

Assuming you have multiple residences? I'm in CO as well and paid like $8K in taxes/registration fees. I think taxes alone were over $6K.
Yes, Alaska resident. It’s saved me so much money over the last few years in CO.

MY not in the same class. If this were ice cars, it’s like saying “gee I should get a RAV4 instead of a Yukon.” Why shop for a Yukon in the first place? Also, MY isn’t that great—I’m selling mine.

I don’t mind the capitalism. I mind all the complaining and moaning about the price hike, if their intention was to flip in the first place.

Makes sense and agree.

There will always be flippers and there will always be people complaining about flippers. Personally I don’t care if someone else decides to sell something they have that is valuable to someone else who is willing to pay for it.

It’s the complaining and moaning about the price hike. If they bought at full price (post hike) and want to flip it, then by all means.

I agree, that is super annoying. I think the price hike actually created even more flippers than we would have seen had the hike been smaller or not at the time it happened.

I might sell my R1T as well. I didn’t have intentions to flip but I decided I’d rather own an S instead.

Picked up an R1T about a week ago with 21” wheels, 1400 miles for 83,800 in WI. Original owner made some $$ but at the same time I feel good about the deal.
