Are those logs being used as crossbars? There's DIY and then there is rigged. Maybe this guy was in a jam somehow but I don't really care for this sort of thing personally. It usually is 10x harder and much less safe than just buying the correct things and doing it the right way. I guess I'm more of a buy once cry once sort of guy who likes to plan to avoid having to do such a thing.
