Spring '26?What do we think by 2025 means for voice to text? Is that by next December??
I also do this, as long as the phones face up, then when you say Siri the truck already pauses the music and allows you to complete all Siri’s functions (yes while using the native Rivian audio apps it still works)“Hey Siri Send a text message” has been working really well for me for years In other vehicles. And WOW it works in the Rivian too. Who’d a thunk? /s

Unless as someone mentioned earlier you have a corporate controlled phone that locks SIRI down when phone is locked you can flip the switch to allow SIRI when locked. Not when the phone is in your pocket or the radio is up.
I’ve had limited luck with Siri hearing me through my pants. Especially if I’m playing music or podcast. I can use my watch, sure, but I’m just asking for a wheel button to activate Siri, which my 2011 Ford Fusion could do. It’s safer to have a wheel button do it. I know we will never get CarPlay so that’s a nice-to-have (and easy to implement) trade off without them giving too much control to the phone.Unless as someone mentioned earlier you have a corporate controlled phone that locks SIRI down when phone is locked you can flip the switch to allow SIRI when locked.
It does not open everything but does allow interaction with texting.
