So, I had the wall charger installed 10 days after I took delivery of the R1T. Since then I've been using it and never think twice about it. A week ago I was wondering why it's taking so long to charge my truck with a level 2 charger. I checked my charged history and saw that I've been getting 3kw of charging instead of 11kw since the charger was installed. I called CS and we went through many steps to figure out what the issue was. We reset the breaker to the charger, reboot the truck, checked the the voltage on the charger and everything looks good. So my CS person said he will send my ticket to have it look at further and will let me know. Then 20 minutes later he called me back and told me he will try to update my wall charger remotely to see if that will work. Long and behold the truck is now getting 9kw of constant charging. I'm getting 9kw because I currently have a 50amp breaker, will be changing that out to 60amp in a week. So, if your charger is not working correctly, call the CS and have them update the charger remotely.

This is helpful, thanks. I'm glad I checked Newest Threads since it got buried so quickly by all the Latest Posts chatter.

Thank you so much for this post. I’ve just had mine installed and have exactly the same problem. I’ve called the electrician who installed it thinking that they messed something up. I also have 50A - which I will also switch out to a 60. When I talked to Rivian they said they’d “put in a ticket”. Now I know to contact them to do this update. Very appreciated I’m not the only one and happy you found the answer!

I hope you all have checked your wire size before bumping going to the 60amp.
