Ok but if you want to focus on the big bold text and use that as the gospel, it also includes “R1T” when the OP is ordering for an R1S. Shouldn’t that raise some red flags if you're saying that what OP receives should match exactly to that title?

In that case, OP really got screwed over because he’s owed two pairs of sliders, one for R1S and one for R1T, and both should have the armor!

No, when you put R1S / R1T, a consumer would believe it can fit either or. That's what I believe on my end. You have a different way of thinking and that's okay too.

If you post only "while their CS process and website need help, mistakes were made on both sides. I ordered the wrong thing and they shipped me what I ordered", I'll donate the $210 to your choice of these charities:

OP tried to come to a reasonable agreement, but EVBASE went back on their agreement.

That's what I did. I wanted to return it, but they offered a partial refund for me to keep it. Then they reneged on our agreement.

This is how they operate. People should stop buying crap from them. They lost a return policy, and then don't honor it. They try to haggle people into keeping damaged goods, and then when they purchaser refuses they continue to stonewall. A friend of mine had to do a charge ack through their CC and even that process seemed to have been impeded by them.

Remember, this is the same company that threatened a reviewer (Branden Flasch) because his review wasn't glowing and falsified.

EVBase and Hansshow both have pretty shit business practices. It's a bummer that more people don't realize this and/or care and continue to find or defend these companies.

EVBase and Hansshow most likely have the same owners. They office out of the same building, but different suite numbers.

Agreed. I know better now. I was more focus on not cutting my "armor' panels and that was what I thought I ordered as reflected on my invoice.

I'm shocked it made to 8 pages too and so should EV Base. With regards to your comments, I don't understand. The parties already acknowledged mutual mistakes. What needs to happen for you to donate to charity?

I do too. If I choose, it will probably be an autism charity. Those children need a voice. We take for granted our ability to express our opinions. My son has a tough time and he's light on the spectrum.

No, the consumer is not always right. But, I sure thank AMEX for protecting me, in similar situations to this.

Unless the site clearly states it is best to order via a computer, laptop and not a mobile device, every order, option should be presented properly. Otherwise, it is not “my fault” for the vendors sloppy work.

Did the OP select the wrong option(s), vehicle? The invoice does not show that.

Was there a typo in the invoice? One word, or two sure. A typo of 3+ words, nah, come on.

Was a refund offered, then reneged by the vendor? Yes. And it sure seems like some very bad, shady biz practices.

this reads like many other posts where the OP is blamed for the root cause, even when they admit some fault. Those same folks are willing to absolve the vendor of any wrong. A joke in my opinion.

Dude, you just made my day. You are my target audience. I hope @EVBASE reads this.

In all fairness, it's not a horrible product. However, customer service does have a value. A warranty is worthless if you try to weasel out of it. Actions speak louder than words.
