Weird steering behaviour

Has anyone seen an issue where the steering becomes very "loose" all of a sudden? Seems like there is a lot of play in the initial rotation of the wheel on a turn. I was driving down the highway and I almost ran into oncoming traffic as the truck didn't turn as fast on a curve as it normally would have. It seemed like there was a lot of play in the wheel before the truck would react and start turning. Almost a feeling of way way way too much power steering, way too soft. I tried changing the drive modes and setting, but I couldn't get it to go away.

This does not sound normal. Call service ASAP if you feel this is a safety concern.

Agreed, and this is the #1 reason I stick to All-Purpose mode. But it doesn't feel like what OP describes, for me at least. I hope you don't experience loose steering like OP while in Conserve.

Sounds like steering went into offroad mode on you. Make sure to toggle the hazard lights on and off when it happens, and contact service.

It did start when I went to conserve mode. Never reverted back to normal in All Purpuse (even after a total reboot). Wonder if there is a setting that isn't reverting?
