Got my truck back from SC yesterday for PTC installation. Apparently, they tried to update the car while it is there. It is stuck at 62% and on "pause". I tried to do hard reset and when go to update, it will said downloading at 62% and then go to pause after 5 to 10 seconds. There is not an "unpause" button. Vehicle is connected to home wifi.

Any tip of getting this restart?

Try disconnecting from your home wifi and add it back in.

Where you at the Dallas SC? They rolled my truck something like 5 or 6 versions of SW and pushed them all back out as updates while in.

I'm in Coppell area. I didn't ask them to do the update, but they did it on their own and didn't finish it. I need to give them a call to see what else they can do.

How do you like the new tires so far?

Still waiting to get them on. They said they were in but weren't. So I have to call back today and see if they have the updated tracking info.

I declined the update lastnight when I was out and about, then this morning, while resting in garage, I selected update but nothing was available. So, the update has been recalled?
I will wait till they fix it and reissue it.
I agreed to the yearly fee to have the "connect" but not sure that is installed, the offer still pops up.

I finally got mine to start downloading the OTA, but seeing same behavior. Stuck on pause occasionally, regardless of Connect+ or WiFi with 5G phone as hotspot. Rivian Roamer dashboard shows downloading. So it might not actually be stuck or paused, just downloading very slowly.

No. Not recalled. Just very finicky with network connection.

I was stuck on pause for about two days. I finally hooked the car to my phone's hotspot and it unstuck. It took about 45 minutes to download the entire things. From 60%-100% goes fairly quickly.

Just tried this and still say downloading at 62% for about 2 minutes which is longer than before, but then go to paused again.

Update. After speaking to customer service. They are able to push update and start over on their end.

Having a Rivian, or possibly any EV, is like having kids.
I didn't have to join a Bolt forum, @Greg Chick. We just drove the Bolts, and learned the differences in the controls.

Once we had a threatened stranding, when our first Bolt wouldn't go into gear after a fast charge. GM didn't have a centralized service number like Rivian's. I finally got a GM dealer's mechanic who talked me through a vehicle reset (the 2019 Bolt's reset method was to disconnect the negative terminal from the 12V battery). That fixed the problem.

I respect and appreciate the Rivians' complexity, but there's a time cost. Less than kids, but more than (at least some) other EVs.

I now remember once Rivian Tech told me on the phone to disconnect the ground on the 12VDC batteries in the frunk to do something, it worked. Then they replaced the batteries!
