What About That R2 Sunroof?

I LOVE the full glass roof on my Model Y and am looking forward to it on the R2. When camping, I love to see the moon when falling asleep and it makes it feels so airy when driving. I live in Southern California and haven’t had an issue with heat but I also like to pre-cool before getting in the car when it’s hot out. To each their own!

I do wish R2 had the electrochromic glass as an option. C’est la vie.

Here's real desert-world feedback on glass roof life: we've driven our Mach-E for 4.5 years now in Phoenix AZ with no heat complaints from either driver, and I have HDS (hair deficiency syndrome). I won't hesitate on glass I think it's great. I suppose I'm assuming Rivian's glass formula is comparable to Ford's. Worst case I'm sure there will be a tolerable aftermarket option down the road.
