Good point. There are multiple other connectors, and even that ethernet port might be serial or something else. I was mainly interested if an on/off switch as possible but it doesn't sound like it is.This board clearly gets used in other applications since there is a lot of unused i/o and that terminal is some kind of low voltage DC output. Probably to power a display board for example (the waypoint chargers have displays).

SD Card: Could be for programming, but also data logging.
SIM Card: Public installations to support cellular backhaul for updates/diagnostics/billing.
