11/10/2020 R1T LE - Back of the LE line I'm sure! I wasn't following Rivian from the beginning, like many but kept thinking thats an interesting EV. First one that I could see buying. For whatever reason it took me some time before putting money down on one, although was interested much sooner.

This will be my third vehicle buying without ever driving or barely seeing. My advice, cherish the unknowns, it makes for a more exciting delivery experience!

I don’t really need a car now or in a couple years but I think the refundable $1000 is a small price to pay to get in the queue and hopefully some of the EV incentives will come to fruition when it’s time to pull the trigger.

Yes. That’s a coincidence. I put a deposit down on Sunday and still am just receiving my normal spam call load of roughly 1 per day. I have the Ignore Unknown Numbers option set on my phone, so that garbage just goes straight to voicemail.

This. If you order a model X now their estimated delivery is October (oof), the Lightning is probably two years out for most new orders, and the CT could be next year or next decade.
