My R1S is ready and they asked me to pick up on Monday. I pushed back the date to Thursday and shopping for lenders. Rivian (through Chase AFAIK) offered me about 6.5% interest. The lowest I found locally (Homestreet bank) is 3.5% after EV and auto pay incentives. I checked several credit unions. Their rate is 5.5% at least. Any bank do you guys suggest me to take a look?

I used my local credit union. I got and extra .5% off for being a member and another .5% for buying an electric vehicle. Better than I was going to get through USAA.

USAA was my best option in March, 2.24%
That’s a good rate! USAA is not an option for me and I feel like rate has probably went up a bit.

What's SoundCU at now?

Edit: they're at 4.49 for a 3 year loan. 5.19 for a 60 month loan.

I used AdelFi, which requires you to be onboard with a Christian mission or be related to an existing member. I qualified for the latter, and got a 2.5% loan in October.

General consensus is that Chase is pretty awful all around.

When I was looking for a car loan for used cars in Washington State, I ended up going with a local credit union. They had great rates and were easy to work with. Plus, being a member gave me some extra perks. I also checked out a few online lenders, but in the end, I liked the idea of keeping things local. It felt more personal, you know? My advice would be to shop around and see what feels right for you. Credit unions can be a good option, but it depends on your situation. Just make sure to read all the fine print and understand the terms before you commit.
