Before I get into anything - DO NOT MAKE THIS POLITICAL
This is not a forum for politics - if you discuss politics the mods will lock this thread and then everyone loses. So don't do it
So on to the topic of discussion:
More and more I've been seeing commentary from Tesla owners wanting to "de-musk" their life. People want to sell their Teslas (or won't buy in the first place) because of Elon Musk. I've noticed this commentary quite a bit here as people are looking to switch to Rivian instead.
When I buy a car, I don't buy it because of the CEO. There are several factors that play into it: utility, style, enjoyment, price, etc. Heck I'd even throw in "voting with my wallet" - that is to say I like what Rivian is setting out to do as a company and I want to support that. But I certainly didn't buy my R1 because I particularly like RJ. (I actually do like what he's put out there, seems like a nice guy. But even if he wasn't I'd still have bought R1).
I certainly don't want to come across as confrontational, genuinely curious what people's thoughts are. What is it that I'm not seeing?
