Why native Apple Music != Apple CarPlay

I must say that I love the sound of the Apple Music app. It's a good addition. Yes, I wish I could download songs to avoid the problems associated with a lack of/slow signal: That is why all of my playlists are downloaded on my phone. However, I've been playing lower quality bluetooth sound for long enough that I can revert to that when needed.
As Gloria Gaynor said, "I will survive".

My problem with Rivians Apple Music implementation in connect+ is simple - it tries to stream every song every time ( which of course it can’t do all the time because while driving , it can’t find the signal in all the places ) . So : Give option to play offline - SIMPLE. JUST DO IT.

Yep. I have given up on native Apple Music for now. It just doesn't seem to work a lot of the time even with good LTE signal. I have been back to Bluetooth and Apple Music on my phone for a couple weeks now.

Man, I was on the fence for a long time, but....I really want CarPlay. LOL. Or, Rivian needs to hire the Orkin man, cuz the bugs the last few updates....ugh.
