Rivian 360° above view is useful... But yeah the camera Image quality for a "cutting edge" EV is C+ at best.

I don't use the camera's other then the top down 360°

You picking up the cropping is helpful though.

So is this "fixable" or are we going to be stuck with these low resolution images?
Should be fixable if they make the crop-in zooming user-modifiable. Like others have said that wider angle is much more useful & as a photographer mismatched resolutions hurt my eyes to strain at when a lower-resolution image is shown on a much higher resolution display, or vice versa.

But really, for a $100K truck (at certain builds) wish you could swap out the cameras for 4K fisheyes. Their software could clearly handle the cropped resolution from a 4K wide-angle image, so I wish we could upgrade these.

Agreed. I'd pay to upgrade the cameras, especially if they would enable a dash cam. It's such an important feature, I can't believe they didn't ship with it. I guess we just have to hurry up and wait.
