It's not simple. Tesla and rivian lease the land for chargers. Tesla leased supercharger spots at zero cost for 10 years.

A lot of v2 leases are not far from ending

Tesla doesn't like to pay for supercharger leases and a lot of v2 might disappear.

Might even be "more better". The landlord might want a new tenant that will utilize the existing infrastructure without tearing up the pavement.

Or just anything in the SE corner of the state! All the best Tucson area recreation is East of here and all we have is the unreliable Benson charger. I get nervous every time I go to chiricahua monument, near Mt Wrightson, or anything in the vicinity of Apache sitgraves

I am going to take my Hummer to Wickenburg and see if I can get the full 300kw at the RAN. Also want to see if I can pay with my Rivian app and get the discounted rate.

I took my Hummer to the Wickenburg RAN and was unable to start the charge from my Rivian app/account. I had to tap a credit card and pay the higher rate. But was able to get the full 300kw charge rate.

Not only that, but I drove hands free to Wickenburg from the Loop 303 on the US60.

At least the Rivian chargers support 800V. Even the V4 Tesla chargers are still stuck at 400V.

What about a reasonable Payson, AZ option… the EA option is unreliable up there.

Circle K has a site there, but not operational yet.
