Makes sense. Much more demand for SUVs than trucks so they should pivot to the R1S. When the R2s come online they should build the R2S and maybe even not build an R2T.

Focus on the vehicles that are selling. And focus does not mean stop building trucks. I was able to tour plant for my pickup of R1T, and there were some Ts still running on line, but mostly S’s. And as you can tell, they have met pent up demand for T’s, and still need to fill most S demand, plus per my great tour guide on factory tour, he noted that most pre-orders still coming in are for S’s.

it really is just supply and demand. Lots of pent up demand for S, so build more. And unlike most car lines, the S and T run the same line, and are “easy” to switch from S to T and back again.
