Wrist Band Key Delivery?

Eh not sure I think it’s that dire. I have several rfid items that reliably read from feet away. I have a toll-tag rfid sticker that reads from dozens of feet away, at high speeds.

Those RFID tags are UHF which have a much larger distance and the readers have much more power. The Rivian uses HF which pretty much requires you to touch the reader.

I got my truck delivered yesterday and I got my wristband/spare tire at time of delivery. The guy who delivered it said that I was basically the first person he has physically given a wristband to. I haven’t tried it, so no clue if it works or not though.

Correct. I have an Adventure trim and received a wristband, 2 key cards and key fob at delivery.

anybody have an update on wristband delivery?

I’m a March delivery and was told last week to expect it sometime in the next month. Service rep said I would get a tracking number once shipped and box would contain keyband activation instructions.

My guide told me I had to put in a service ticket to get my keyband. No idea if it’s accurate but that’s what prompted the update I got last week.

My guide tries to punt everything so this may just have been his way of absolving himself of this, but probably worth a shot.

I was told a few days ago that they had to switch suppliers and the target window for them shipping out is August-October.

Something else that’ll only be available in an all-black colorway I guess.?
