Did you sell your first one, trade it in, or did it have issues? That's a lot of sales tax in my neck of the woods.

I traded to Rivian. The offer was good.

Taking the hit now was just moving up something I figured I would do eventually. Cancelling the yellow but letting just a few slip through right at the end with Max Pack and Performance… well, that accelerated my schedule.

It isn’t white on top. The dash wood (only) is replaced with the off white pleather, no reflections noticed yet, and the door wood is replaced with a dark gray fabric. I keep forgetting to check the coat hooks in back. Probably plastic like all these days are.

The coat hooks have probably been replaced with plastic that looks like metal like it was on my old truck. How are you doing on the range?

Haven’t had time to work on range testing just yet. Life intervenes

Blargh. I know they’re doing it because of supply chain availability issues, but I wish they’d work harder to find replacements… I used that under-dash outlet constantly. I have things I’d like to do with the frunk one too.

I was annoyed about this change on my May '23 build too; I use a rear-view camera monitor (feed from my travel trailer) which requires a 12v plug. I bought an adapter that plugs into the USB-C port. It works, but running the cord to the centre console is not ideal.

The power from those USB C outlets is not good enough to substitute for a 12V socket for my uses. Still bugs me… but I’ll manage
