Anyone figure how how to ask it to shuffle play a Tidal playlist? Unless there's a trick I'm missing, RA doesn't appear to be any better in that regard than Alexa was (ie, can't do it).

It's unfortunate that the only (current) calendar integration seems to be with Google calendars. Many of us that are in the Apple ecosystem, instead of running Android OS on our phones, don't use Google calendars at all.

I've already submitted feedback using the link at the bottom of the main screen on the phone app, which is what everyone that is posting on this thread needs to be doing. Send the feedback to Rivian through official channels instead of posting it on a forum that, in reality, won't change the status quo.

I'm hopeful that messaging to group texts will be supported in the future.

Right now this is an Apple/Bluetooth limitation, but it’s being worked on between Rivian and Apple!

Which means they have developers spending tons of time chasing a long tail list of services to integrate. And they'll have to do that in perpetuity for every service.

As someone in tech I see this all the time. And it's a terrible way to spend limited and expensive developer, QA, and doc team time.

when I did the upgrade last night, I noticed a msg that group texts are not supported. this was not qualified as iOS only.

this is true to an extent but it should not be nearly as heavy a lift as say building a native Tidal, Spotify, Amazon Music, etc app - assuming the systems being integrated with provide their own MCP servers.

yeah, I believe BT is the limitation. but Rivian should be able to build on top of that to support group messaging for both iOS and Android.

Totally dependent on how the feedback is managed. Surely you are not suggesting that user feedback itself is a waste of time?

I'd for it love to control passenger seat position. Lower it when my wife is getting into the car or pull it forward and tilt the back forward when I want to load something behind it. I hate leaning across the seat to reach those bittons. Sadly, I suspect those controls are locally isolated and not connected to the central computer.

Doesn't seem to be. I sent a message to a group, got a response from a member, sent a reply but it only went to that individual instead of the group. Maybe one day...
