I can see that but that would be late 2027 for a 2028 model year. The colors in the configurator are set now through into 2027.Thoughts on whether Red Canyon might appear next (model) year?
My sense is that MY turnover happens in summer, so perhaps summer 2027 for MY28… or not.I can see that but that would be late 2027 for a 2028 model year. The colors in the configurator are set now through into 2027.
I don’t talk to her much so when I do it better be importantDon’t be a slacker

Can you expand on this bit? I'd thought I'd read the portable charger and adapter were included and was surprised to see the charge for them in the configurator (I had the portable charger included for free in my iX3 order last week as part of the default config)And all the charging stuff because it's free to CA residents (Portable Charger $400; J1772 Adapter $50; Combo CCS1 DC Adapter $200).
If you look at the configurator there is text below the chargers stating what states there will be credits for the price on the final total. Can you expand on this bit? Saw R2 in Palo Alto today btw, it is awesome in person. Hope I can get a LE.
... and here's the screen cap with text at the bottom from the Accessories pop upIf you look at the configurator there is text below the chargers stating what states there will be credits for the price on the final total.
The wheels wouldn't be any smaller. They stated they are all the same size wheel, it's just a change in rim size. The wheel itself is I believe 32" diameter.I'm a little bugged by the extra $1000 just to get the smaller 20 inch wheels on the launch addition - dont care about mud and snow - just want a quieter ride and would rather have a standard tire like offered on the lesser models. That along with $1500 for a gray option is making me less enthusiatic about Rivian's launch.

I am in this predicament. I am not happy. Disappointed enough that Borealis isn't even a launch color anymore. Debating on canceling my order now. Yes, the color is important to me and I despise the other colors except Catalina and that's more a toleration than like.Me. Don't need 10G acceleration or fancier suspension. My wife 'needs' purple though, so TBD.
Not for everyone. Wheels for some people mean the entire tire. Depends where you are in the country.Wheels = rims.
The overall tire diameter is 32", no matter the size of wheel/rim, just changes in the tire's sidewall height.
Then those people are wrong. Doesn't matter where in the country you are. A tire goes around the outside diameter of a wheel, with rim being a colloquial term for wheel, but actually means the outside lip of a wheel. Not for everyone. Wheels for some people mean the entire tire. Depends where you are in the country.
Wheel = rim, spoke, hub as a unit. The rim is only the outer part of the wheel.Wheels = rims.

They would be wrong. Some people say "I'm like" for "I thought" or "I said". Even if common, still wrong. Not for everyone. Wheels for some people mean the entire tire. Depends where you are in the country.
