Backing trailer through a narrow barn, ticked the driver side mirror and cracked the ~1" wide black plastic that surrounds the mirror; lost about 3" that surrounds the light on the far outside. Can't find all the pieces so can't epoxy it back together; the missing piece may be inside. Can anyone tell me what the part number for that is, and how to remove it to see if the piece is inside? I suspect it is just some kind of press / snap fit.

You can only buy complete assembly from Service. If you want to buy just a part of it you need to find a salvage assembly to use as parts donor. Check eBay listings.

Dangit, I was afraid of something like that. Thanks.
Anyone know of Rivian junkyards? I think I read in another thread someone in California was opening one.
Also, still looking for info on how to remove the old piece.

You could try my friends at Autobahn Parts a try (El Cajon, CA). Though I don't know if they've taken in any R1s recently. Gen 1? If you talk to Sean (owner) tell him Paul, B. Carufel's friend sent you. http://www.autobahnparts.com/
