As a side note, I guess I am used to being charged for interior upgrade for color or material so never gave another thought.

I was being clever about my wife @mkg3. She basically saw a picture and said, "No way. It looks like a grape." I realized I was very close to closing the deal with her on the R2 and didn't want to screw it up. She liked the Catalina Cove color better (and that was the $2K upcharge I was moaning about). I thought the $1K upcharge for Coastal Cloud interior was more palatable.

Interesting rhumbliner. I received my pre-order notification 24 hrs after paying the $400. So, Ben24, you made your res on "8/11?" I made my res on March 7, 2024.

Same here….I placed my order for coastal cloud/Catalina Cove on Tuesday (8/18) and received my pre-order notification at 9:01 AM the next day. My reservation was 3/7/24. I’m very excited for delivery!

Received my invite to order on Tuesday this week and waited till yesterday to order. Glacier white with Black Crater interior. I can post more but we all get the idea. Curious to see how long it will take for delivery. Our first EV and very excited to be part of the Rivian family.

That tells me they have limited availability of Coastal Cloud. I got that email saying Coastal Cloud was not available yet. Three weeks later, I got this. Hope it comes to you s00n!
